definitly a free show. There is probably some small section that can be reserved in advance so you can have a table or something. Come on down. Jeff on 6/26/01 2:55 AM, nethed at nethed@ninjatune.net wrote:

Yea... I'd assume the part that is sold out is just the Golden Circle or whatever. But beware, when New Yorkers hear the word "FREE", they come in HUGE crowds! I went to see "The Wild One" at Bryant Park last night for free and was really surprised to see thousands of people showed up for an old Marlon Brando movie. There was a kind of bizarre carnival atmosphere going on. So, if you want a spot where you can see the stage from, go early. Anyway... I'm still a little unclear now on this central park show. Cinematic Orchestra is opening up for Remember Shakti? Is John McLaughlin gonna be a guest in the C.E. set or did I misread that at the website? I guess I'll go either way if it is after work hours. -Aaron ----- Original Message ----- From: Jeff/Ninja Tune <jeff@ninjatune.n et> Date: Tuesday, June 26, 2001 12:07 pm Subject: Re: [idm] cinmeatic news & rumours...

Certainly we wouldn't complain at all if John McLaughlin sat in with Cinematic, but that won't be the case. Times are.. 6:30 - 7:30 : Mixmaster Morris 7:45 - 8:35 : Cinematic Orchestra 9:00 : John McLaughlin Also note that Cinematic Orchestra will be playing the next night at Knitting Factory where they will be playing a much longer set than this show. Granted I'm bias and all, but they are a fucking great live band. Don't miss these shows. Jeff on 6/26/01 11:29 AM, Aaron D Meyers at adm226@nyu.edu wrote:
