Interesting, I did a search on Yahoo Groups and nothing came up at all;
I don't even get a link to the Soulseek webpage anymore via Yahoo,
Google, Alta Vista, etc. But you're still getting onto the server? I
get the message "could not resolve server address," which is not
auspicious. I'm using 0.5.8, by the way; is there a more recent one? I
never downloaded the "profiles" thing I kept getting offered, since it
would crash each time I tried.
So are there any real alternatives to Soulseek right now? It seems to me
that it has been an exceptionally fun group of people into this sort of
music.
