In apparent retribution for inflicting W upon the nation, God decided to
curse us with another one of his damn floods. But while the Lord taketh
away, sometimes he gives something back. Case in point: Mouse on Mars and
Tortoise paid Houston a visit. Normally, Houston is a IDM wasteland - so we
have to take advantage of those rare opportunities when an act decides to
swing a little lower than Austin. I'll be brief:
Vert and Takemura played pretty interesting sets. Mouse on Mars were just
plain awesome. I haven't really gotten into Tortoise, but they had a great
performance. Their last song (the encore) was especially good. Check out
this act when it gets to your town.
