What are some of the ways (i.e. easiest or most common) graphic artist people go about making the snazzy visuals that are projected at shows? do they make a bunch of stills in photoshop or some other program and then animate them in a video program like premiere or finalcutpro? Or are they done completely in flash? Or some non-computer-dork method? Or i'll stop asking and wait for an answer. I really liked the visuals at the phoenecia/schirach show (significantly more than the ones at Tortoise/Takemura). Anyone know who was responsible for them? the designer's republic perhaps? thanks for reading and maybe answering my annoying questions. the [insert] key is the fucking devil! np>>Hanson:The Christmas Album (Albloom). _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

coldcut visuals are done with their own software called vjamm which works for pc only. you can demo it at http://www.ninjatune.net & sometimes they use photoshop 2... http://www.guiltyparty.cc - you can see how they used the latest version of vjamm & other visual manipulating stuff.. if you really want to get deep into this, there's the eyecandy newsgroup somewhere on the net & vjing/software/programs/effects/flamewars like idm is all they seem to discuss.
