I know their IDM credentials are dubious, but any opinions of the new Air album (10,000 Hz, IIRC)? How does it compare to Moon Safari and Premieres Symptomes? Paddy np: cLOUDDEAD (Big Dada). One of those albums that is brilliant in a 'it must be genius because I haven't a clue what they're on about' kind of way. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Much more experimental, compared to the first two releases, which I really like. There is still a hint of their sound in this one, but there's a lot of new and weird sounds going on as well. Indentally, I just finished listening to an advance of the new Faithless : Outrospective album, and given that this is my first exposure to them aside from the track Insomnia from oh so long ago, I gotta say I was pretty impressed. The album is incredibly varied, with a few Bristol-sounding tracks (think Tricky and Massive Attack made a bit more poppy), some ethereal vocals, lots of weird sounds, lots of starts and stops in unexpected places but put to very good use (ie, it breaks up what would otherwise get boring quickly). All in all an enjoyable experience. -- jr --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
