I ws disappointed by Squarepusher on May 1st when he was opening for
Tortoise in London but last night he absolutely rocked. If anybody
has a recording of it please get back to me !!
I met him later and asked him why he doesn't play bass anymore. He
said that he had it with him but was really into spinning (or playing
cd's or dat's or Dtd or whatever the hell he was doing) and thought
"fuck it" (in his own words) ... so if those of you who haven't seen
him yet are lucky, he actually might play bass at his upcoming
performances.
Also, I got to talk to Cylob, Aphex Twin, Chris Cunningham and
Bjork... what an evening !!
Bjork said that some accapellas of her new single will be available
so people can remix her and send their remixes to her. That's a cool
idea. :-)
Once again, if anybody recorded the show, please get back to me !! ;-)
