Sistol is the guise used by Vladislav Delay on the Phthalo label. There is one self-titled cd by Sistol which was released in early 2000 but was limited to 500 copies so it may be harder to find nowadays. The style of the Sistol release is more on the experimental techno edge. Here is the tracklisting: . Sistol: s/t cd (Phthalo) Tracks: - keno - hac - nuomo - kaste - haaska - kelmi - luomo - kotka I used to do the Phthalo label website but havent had the time to revive the site since it was lost during an isp switch 6 months ago. i plan on bringing it back to life as soon as time permits. in the meantime you can get some information at www.phthalo.com or www.thebarrio.com but speaking of vladislav delay, he seems to have gone quiet lately after his blitzkrieg of a dozen releases last year. he must be gearing up for another outburst of releases. in the meantime, if you are aching for a new vlad-delay-like techno-dub release (ala anima, multila) check out tomas jirku's new 'immaterial' cd on the substractif label - four lenghty experimental dub-techno journeys well worth taking. i think i posted a recoreview of it recently if not it will be posted later this week. -->-Lance---- PO Box 450715 Westlake, OH 44145 United States --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Deep dubby clicks and cuts. Way more organic then the latest Mille Plateau comp.

second that recommendation. reslab is a must have for anyone into mille plateaux, ~scape and basic channel. the label is called mitek, and is distributed by www.nursery.a.se. or at least their mailorder has it. hs At 15.27 +0200 01-06-06, Johan @ (K-RAA-K)3 wrote:

It's quite weird my evolution with vladislav delay (no, I'm not going to abbreviate it vd). I didn't like the original stuff, like the CR EP, kind of warmed up to some of the luomo, but didn't think it was worthy of everyone's praise (just saying). Then Anima really grabbed me, it's quite brilliant. And now I'm able to go back and really enjoy the original CR release. of course the Pub rmx was beautiful from the start. blah. :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

True, Reslab really is a rather good compilation. Especially the really long song by Andreas Tilliander. Check out some Mitek sites. They might be old, since both are "a bit" low on infotmation: http://members01.chello.se/lomi/mitek/ and http://www.it.kth.se/KREV/citizen/mikael/ Petter http://www.fatbankroll.nu/ --- henrik stromberg <hs@groove.st> wrote:

I read that he had to have some sort of operation recently which has put him out of order temporarily. Which probably means he's completed another 10 albums while convalescing in bed with his laptop. :-) Andrei --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
