Manuel Gottsching - E2-E4
Seminal and hugely influential solo release from
ashra-guitarist. Recorded in 1981. still sounds fresh
today, only now there are whole genres of music
influenced by it as well. Minimal, emotional
explorations of trance music - just him, electronics
and guitar. from this he crafted an evocative,
levitational work. echoes can be heard nowadays from
isolée to basic channel. Its a good'n, basically!
I-sound, DJ scud and errorsmith - roots, rock, ravers
Bit of a glitch, noise, ragga, hardcore, jungle style
mash up, here. Its moderately impressive, whats on
offer, although (heres my problem) theres only 14
minutes of it, meaning Not sure its up to all the
praise thats been heaped on DJ scud /ambush, but it is
enjoyable while it lasts. im going to reserve
judgement til i get the dj scud/panacea single.
