Hi there IDM'ers: I've posted a little bit of info about this party already, but it is coming up THIS SATURDAY in LOS ANGELES so I thought I'd give a refresher! =) All the details can be found at http://beam.to/lemonade on my ghetto website. The party will have one big chill room with ALL ambient/downtempo/triphop/IDM/noise type stuff, and then a smaller dancy lounge featuring deep house and intelligent/jazzy jungle. The BEST part about the whole thing is that this will be a REALLY laid back party =) Bring pillows and blankets if you want to, and we will have some air mattresses and carpet too, so that people can get super comfy. We will be selling water, and giving away FREE lemonade! Here is the complete lineup: Main Room (Ambient/Downtempo/Abstract Noise): Live Performances by: Low Res (Plug Research/Mille Plateux, LA) L'usine (Isophlux, LA) Suryummy (Electronica Optica, SF) + DJ's: Elemental (Electronica Optica, SF) Friar Tuck (Lemonade, LA) Skye and the Ambient Mafia (SF) The Fisherman (Grafix, LA) Uptempo Lounge (Deep House/Trip Hop/d'n'b): Kenneth Graham (Visage/Plastic City/Electrolux, LA) Dean Decosta (Higher Source/Mosaic/Plug Research, LA) Max Alert (Grafix, LA - special intelligent drum'n'bass set!) Ramsay Mo'Negro (Magnum Cartel/Deep Funk Records, LA) Admission is ONLY $10 Directions will be posted on the infoline the night of the party, 310-289-5792 "Its been 2 years since Freon, and we are very excited to be back! Bittersweet is not a rave. Bittersweet is a freeform electronic music gathering featuring ambient and downtempo artists. Come prepared to chill - bring blankets, pillows, incense, cards, toys, games, backrubs, and smiles." Projections by Visual Mantra and Electronica Optica Bittersweet by Lemonade Please pardon the BSP, I just think that this party is a great opportunity to hear some good IDM (and other stuff) in the atmosphere that it was meant for =) peace, Ed
