No, I'm pretty sure the first guy is right. It was Richard D James. Without a doubt. You can even faintly here the words "Aphex Twin" at about 2:43 into track 2. -Adam _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Still, it was made by Mark Clifford, a former(?) Seefeel member. Petter http://www.fatbankroll.nu/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! How right you are! It is a little known fact that in order to not flood the market with Aphex Twin records, Warp has taken to releasing certain RDJ recordings under other names. Thus, not only is Disjecta's first ep an RDJ production, but also a few Autechre albums ("Tri Repetae", "Envane" and "Chiastic Slide"), Plaid's "Not for Threes" and Mira Calix' "Pin Skeeling". As well as being the man actually responsible for Squarepusher's "Big Loada", it was in fact RDJ who produced Broadcast's latest album, not Tom Jenkinson. Funnily enough, the "Windowlicker" track from the ep by the same name is actually NOT an Aphex Twin production, it was instead produced by Timbaland, reportedly as an exchange for RDJ producing some of Missy Elliot's tracks. However, contrary to popular belief, Aphex Twin is not the man behind the Chris Clark album "Clarence Park". Chris Clark is in reality a pseudonym for the elusive Mark Clifford. hs -- _________________________________ usa is environmentally unfriendly --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
