I wanted to take a moment to urge everyone to check out www.insiderone.net.
It's a new-ish site, not exclusively IDM at all, although most of what I'm
covering for them is electronic in nature, and the writer Anthony Carew is
also covering some great, list-relevant stuff.
Editor Michael Goldberg writes a column every day, and it's become my
morning ritual to read it. He ranges from critique of the music industry to
very personal musings on the new Unwound album. It's a site devoted to
criticism and thought and a sort of "philosophical fandom," of which there's
not enough, to my mind, in this world full of Blenders and such.
So check it out.
