what can i say..this show was solid. after getting a
bit 'tripped' up...prefuse came on w/ lif, but lif's
voice was fucked, so he didnt mc really. but i would
say prefuse kinda sucked cause he pretty much pressed
play.
nobukazu came on and did a cool vocal kinda robot beat
track, and then another long fast beat track which was
pretty phat.
then autechre came on...no visuals. i was right next
to a speaker 2 times the size of me and the bass was
BLOWING my ass off...autechre fuckin rocked that place
out sick style. the went on and played some dizzying
subtle changing beats. the shit went on for a
while..just pummeling the place with dirty beats the
whole time. they were waging some serious
psychological beat warfare. They looked dark. real
dark.
tortoise was nice and uplifting. good to see a live
band play....overall , amazing show....
