Fondle 'Em isn't against pressing CDs. The MF Doom was pressed up in a small quantity some time ago, along with the Cenobites and others (* note: someone needs to repress the Juggaknots' "Clear Blue Skies"). All of these were/are fairly widely available (in stores), and from Sandbox Automatic, to name one mail order source. Now though, Sub Verse has reissued _remastered_ CD versions of both "Operation Doomsday" _and_ KMD's "Black Bastards" (which was out on CD for a short while before this new reissue hit the shelves). Both discs have bonus tracks, and the MF Doom has a shockwave video for the extra cut. :-) Hopefully more folks will get to hear these now ... -Patrick --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

you're right about the centobites, but i'm pretty sure the doomsday cd was done by doom himself through metal face.

here's the rundown of all the Black bastards issues: '94 - the only official release from elektra is the What A Niggy Know/Constipated Monkey/Q3-119 (non album track) 12", various white label bootleg versions of the lp of varying (usually rather poor) quality follow '98 - fondle 'em 'Black Bastards Ruff & Rares' EP, good quality, featuring the following tracks: Get U Now, Popcorn, Contact Blitz, Sweet Premium Wine +Instrumentals; they also reissued the What A Niggy Know 12", and put the subroc (rip) tracks "It Sounded Like A Rock"/"Stop Smokin' That Shit" on a seperate 12" '00 - readyrock/metal face cd issue that FUCKING SUCKS. avoid this at all costs, it sounds like it was dubbed straight from the aforementioned bootleg wax. if you see readyrock on the label put that shit back on the shelf. '01 - finally a proper Black Bastards reissue on double wax and cd by subverse. Featuring the MF Grimm 'Niggy...' remix and Q3-119 as a vinyl only bonus cut. so the double lp on subverse is the one you want, by far... i wonder if any of these are officially sanctioned at all by elektra. i read somewhere doom got the rights back, but that was in regards to the readyrock release, and that sure didnt sound like it was from the masters --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
