Who is the 10cc outfit that you speak of. Heaven knows i'm a sucker for the description 'chain reaction-ish.' Who are they, what have they released, and on what label(s). Ummm....Lol Creme and Kevin Godley from WAY back (Sherman, set the wayback to the 1970s...) "I'm Not in Love" was a major pop hit by the band whose name approximated the average male ejaculate. They actually patented their own synth. Prolly not your cuppa, Lance. jeff last friday

They also developed their own guitar string-agitating device somewhere between an e-bow and those little motor things that Panhuysen uses. They get a fair amount of play on their _Consequences_ 3LP box, if I recall correctly. -rob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

10CC is not in any way chain reaction-ish that I can recall? As Jeff has already correctly said "hardly your cuppa tea, Lance" :-) Reel back the years to more or less the 70's; 10CC did Dreadlock Holiday ("I don't like reggae / I love it... etc") Livens up every party. Godley & Creme were (are) brilliant musicians, but never what I'd classify an IDM mould. A quick apology on my part for my silly question about 10cc. Sometimes i get so wrapped up in electronic music, obvious things (like the identity of 10cc) go right over my head. I remember 10cc quite well from back in my high-school classic rock days (but i personally preferred Blind Faith). Again, thanks to all for your helpful reminders and sorry for my lapse in knowledge.
