I saw in NME (blhec :) ) that Scanner has a gig in London next Saturday. Do you know where is it and in what time? I am new in London and I still don't know all places :) Actually I don't know if i'll go for Scanner or Bardo Pond... It would be good if Scanner gig is going to be at late hours. It would solve my indecision! Well...this is most curious. In fact I am in London but certainly not playing a live show. My next live London performance will be at the Tate Modern on 21 Sept with Oval. An American tour will happen throughout July and then Australia in August. I was warned about this show as well - it turns out to be a rather tiresome German heavy metal band who have decided to use my name and good will for publicity. Despite letters requesting politely that they cease using my reputation, they continue; but then again, a smoky pub in North London is not my ideal choice of venue! Please, if you can, inform anyone that might be going that it isn't me and they can instead expect some nasty leather jackets, mullet haircuts and cowboy boots rather than electronic sounds.
