After a three year summer vacation (not too difficult when every day is
Summer in OC) I am pleased to present the return of Orange. Available

The D'Arcangelo boys (brothers Marco and Fabrizio D'Arcangelo) are two
Italian gentlemen who have been releasing electronic music since 1992 on
labels such as Disturbance, Rephlex, their own label Engine and most
recently a very well received full-length album under their Monomorph guise
for Nature. Fusing elements of hip-hop with a dark experimental techno
mindset, this record truly sounds like no other. Their EP release on Orange
marks their first record for an American label and includes a gorgeous remix
from Andre Estermann (Musik Aus Strom).
Datathief :: Bandwidth EP (ORNG003)
A1 Bandwidth
A2 Kaya (Hexadecimator Mix)
B1 Fall of the Silicon Empire
B2 Spaz
B3 Gelb
Orange is very proud to present the long awaited first solo release from
Datathief. Brian Flanagan and Mike Hopkins of Manchester, UK are the
codemasters responsible for the bits and bytes of Datathief. On the seminal
0161 CD compilation released by Skam and v/vm Datathief managed to upstage
the likes of Gescom and Bola with their now classic militaristic
techno-information age anthem, "Nightraid." They repeated the same trick in
2000 with their track "Advanced Social Engineering" on the Psychological
Operations In Guerrilla Warfare CD for the Beta Bodega Coalition. Now in
2001 Orange brings you the best of the Datathief sound, from storming
electro to soft melodic ambient musings.
And available in the US exclusively through S://KIMO (

lexaunculpt :: Double Density EP (ORNG001)
A1 cold drawing the beat dots
A2 ilevl
A3 then she said
B1 my peach and my pear
B2 feruarie
B3 sleeping alone
Orange brings you this very limited reissue of the original and now classic
Double Density EP. After the remarkable achievement of having his very first
record named Single of the Year on the IDM mailing list the previous year,
Orange shared the progression of the lexaunculpt sound on this EP which
after quickly selling out its initial pressing which contained one of three
additional MP3 tracks on a 3.5" floppy disc was reissued in its current
state sans floppy but retaining the original hand letterpressed artwork.
Trainspotters need not fear however as the bonus tracks from the original
12" will soon be available for download on the Orange website as full
fidelity MP3's. lexaunculpt has recently compiled his next EP for Orange and
is hard at work on his first full length album.
