You've got to be into the series to get the whole story unfortunately, but its worth it. Sometimes I can't grasp how David Lynch gets such remarkable performances out of completely mediorce actors. And musicians... (Chris Isaak & David Bowie, yikes!) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I dunno about that. I was a big fan of the TV series (well, half of it - it was great until the end of the Laura Palmer storyline, but then it pretty much sucked until Lynch came back to direct the last episode), but I thought the movie was pretty weak. It had some good moments, but had too much of the "weird for weird's sake" stuff that Lynch often falls prey to. Of course, I also thought that Lost Highway was a heaping, streaming pile of pretentious horseshit, while many folks praised it as his best film in years. And I never really cared for Eraserhead either, although the soundtrack is great. i was never a big eraserhead fan either, though i too enjoy the soundtrack a lot! i think, for me, it helps to see the film as a video for one long, fucked up song :) then i enjoy it a little more. does anyone know if there is truth to angelo badalamenti (under a different name at the time) working with jj perrey on his solo albums (like mood indigo?) chris. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

heh.. 'imdb.com' has three letters in common with 'dim' three names. peter fonda dennis hopper jack nicholson. two words: easy rider oh yes.. to this day, it's the only movie that makes me cry at the end. damn. i have seen a lot of movies.. but none took me on such an emotional rollercoaster jack nicolson is my favorite part by far. specialy when he first smokes pot.. and then ever after that he's real philosophical. and just when he reaches the peek of his life. (the philosophie about 'people talk about freedom all day. but when they see it. it reminds them they dont have it. and that scares them. and when they get scared. it makes them dangerous.) a few scenes later. wack. the fascist arm swipes him off the game board. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. that movie is so damn real. mad mad mad respect to peter fonda and dennis hopper they more or less made this movie from scratch. and i dont believe it was anything that was too far from their lives at the time. at least thats what id like to believe. and after growing up with bikers that all chased that dream. damn..theres just so much to it. as far as absoluter reality. i do not believe a better movie ever was made. last minute idm relation: they sold and blew coke , smoked pot , and ate acid. oh wait..nevermind. for a second i thought i was talking to ravers. ::.::.:..::.:..::.:::::.:neilius ness www.invisie.net "i demand silence! ..im busy counting sheep." --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
