hey !!!!!!!! :-P the coil mixes of gave up and further down the spiral are very very good( and the aphex twin remix was just one remix, which was nice as well) any one else agree on me. coil lovers speak up regards, teardropb _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Absolutely! You gave me the impetus to haul out this once-loved- now-dusty album and give it a spin, and boy did it reawaken memories! Of course Aphex's mix is colossal, but that doesn't make the rest of the album any less downright durdy, which is great once in a while, to shake off this polite looped minimalism of glitchy DSP we've come to call IDM. Like many others here, I've come to the year 2001 by way of a long and winding musical roadtrip, making occasional stop-offs in industrial wastelands. Highly necessary to blast this out once in a while just to wake you up. Just wanted to add : lots of bits on Coil's '91 album Love's Secret Domain are very current in feel, meaning that good equates ageless. *** I M O *** {sigh} I * np : self destruction, final --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I think there is a lot to idm that anyone can enjoy, they just have to be willing to dig deeper into the roots of songs than your typical lyrical format. If ppl could just get over the whole "I need lyrics" syndrome, so many ppl would learn to appreciate what idm has to offer. on 4/24/01 12:56 PM, teardropb . at boygothic@hotmail.com wrote:

I took the industrial route as well, although I'd currently consider myself more of a rivethead than a IDM'er. Ebola np: Confield
