_______________________~__________________________ I recently downloadindeeded "Stereonights" by Takkyu Ishino. I figure some of the people on list who like Daft Punk will like it too. very gay. I heard he is 1/2 of Denki Groove, who I am only familiar with through a DMX Krew remix. Could someone who likes their stuff please preach their favorites, so I can bite off their japankite. thank ! ) _______________________ ~__________________________ _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Venturing slightly out of idm territory and into "J-Pop"...(bleeech, I really hate that term). If the idea of a Pixi Stik headache appeals to you, you should check out tracks by Tomoe Shinohara. Basically, she makes Bjork look like Patti Smith. Very bubbly, sassy, bratty, and sweet. But Tomoe's production team easily crushes the competition, as far as frenetic, glitchy, and fun go. "Supermodel" from 1996, which I think is her first, is a good place to start. Napstering Tomoe Shinohara should return you a nice enough selection to sample.. though it's mostly the more recent stuff, which isn't as good. Be forewarned: you have to set aside your avant garde pretentions, put on your Bis suits, and be ready to hop around. ======================================================================= Brian MacDonald <brianm@kuci.org> ======================================================================= --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
