Just grabbed it today, and I have to say it's very.... interesting. If you want a mish-mash of Autechre and Aphex, this is it. I've been listening to Diesel Raven (off the warp site) non-stop, but unfortunately the rest of the album is almost completely different. Oh well, still a worthwhile listen. Check it out. - Dan John --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The Aphex Twin comparisons certainly aren't misplaced. But don't let that put you off -- I too hate it when I can hear an artist trying to be something they're not. This is not that type of album. It's a half hour of totally original madness. Beautifully fractured tracks, great sound design, melody, hyperbreaks...yeah. Definitely my favorite new Warp artist in a while, surprising in all the right ways. Buy! The man speaks the truth. Clarence Park reminds me of Jamie Lidell's mad album, Muddlin Gear, but it's a bit more accessible and melodic.
