Among all this talk of Plaid v. Autechre (how are you people hearing "Double Figure"? is it all on Napster or are there promo copies floating (or both)?), I'd like to express my satisfaction with the E*Vax album "Parking Lot Music." Someone, I believe, referred to the album as "soulless" or something to that extend. I personally think it sounds great... yes, I do like BOC as well so that makes sense, but I totally think the album is worth my time. Thanks for the opinions on Crunch (although I'm amazed how quickly it digressed into "Autechre's 'Amber' sux!")... I'm trying my best nowadays to avoid most bands following in Autechre's skittering beats formula. -djgyn, forever __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I'm just wondering, did anyone actually say Amber sucks? I'm one of the people who argued that it wasn't as impressive as their later stuff, and I hope my arguement wasn't misconstrued to the point where people thought I didn't like Amber. Hell, I love Amber, and I bet most ae fans do too, even if they like the later stuff better. On Wed, 11 Apr 2001, djgyn forever wrote:
