Heads, I sympathize with all this talk about how retarded it is to go to an electronic music show where some guy is just clicking on a computer. I feel you. I personally don't go to shows like that if I can help it. Fortunately, though, there is somebody out there trying to make a difference. The number one entertainer in all of electronic music. His name is me, Cex. Every magazine in the world has already declared my live show the best in all of electronic music hands down, INCLUDING even live shows in stadiums with Moby playing an electric guitar or whatever. Pretty soon I think some websites might also say that I am the best. But none of that matters. What matters is that you come and have fun with me and experience it for yourself. No magazine can explain to you the feeling in your heart when there's this number one regular guy who reaches out off the stage, grabs your pale, solemn face and forcibly twists your lips into a smile. No hipster is safe. Even the most german minimal techno head has succumbed in the past and shall succumb again in the future. Here are some shows you should go to so that you can receive the blessed sacrament which will alight your heart with a burning inferno of faith in live music: April 20th, Iowa City @ Gabe's Oasis :: Cex w/ Kid606 April 23rd, New York City @ Tonic :: Cex w/ Kid606 and Matmos April 26th, Baltimore City @ Ottobar :: Cex w/ Kid606 May 4th, Philadelphia City @ Killtime :: Cex w/ I-Sound and Bombardier more info on these shows is available on the internet, probably. -rk ps: #1 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

word... I don't know what's up with all the haters. I'm just psyched that Cex will be playing such an exclusive show in Baltimore with the famed Kid 606... plus all the honeyz at the show! I can't wait. KNOCK 'EM OUT THA BOX CEX! -GEE WHY On Mon, 9 Apr 2001, Rjyan Kidwell wrote:

Hey, Toot your own horn a little more. How lame. Hey, I was rated the number one live masturbator!!! Check me out. Woot woot! Give me a break buddy, I've seen lots of fucking great live electronics. And many of them were just laptop. The process isn't what matters, it's the end result. I'm sure your shit is good, but have some tact. Coming on and saying, "Look at me, I'm the best." Is really lame. Peace, --AL

Speaking of which, Matmos and Bombardier both play really good live sets too. Anybody who gets the chance and is into hard, industrial/hardcore/jungle should check out Bombardier. -- :: atomly :: atomly@atomly.com | atomly@atdot.org | atomly@curiousnetworks.com http://www.atomly.com | http://www.mp3.com/atomly --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

ah the mighty cex, i think you have a great lack of it, thats why your such a dork. you must be refering to the urb mag article, this is what it should've said: "pimply dork hits play on his laptop and runs around and makes an idiot of himself...he needs to get laid, so any ladies out there that can get by his looks, do him this small favor" i saw you once w/kid 606, who i might add blew you the fuck away, and this is what your "spectacular" show consisted of. just in case you were wondering, we were laughing at you, not with you. get a life.
