you know, im always picking on deep v-neck shirts but, has anyone heard the two Syndrone albums Machine Drum/Travis did bcak in the day on m3rck? they are amazing, both of them, every track, if anything, the worst criticism i can level at it is that they are like two missing autechre lps they are so fucking perfectly aligned with ae's style, like, to say he totally 'gets' them would be a massive understatement. and yet, he did those tracks in Impulse Tracker, which in and of itself is also sort of a perfectly AE type thing to do, its amazing if you're familiar with tracking, the kind of effects and tricks he pulls off, and if you aren't and just like autechre, it's amazing how well he captures their sound and then adds a very subtle layer of melody to it in that classic Machinedrum way...
