I've recently rediscovered Hidden Agenda's "Big Lamp" off the Metalheadz tin box and have since been thrashing it a bit. Have they made any more funky disco-breaks tracks? I've only really heard one other housey release by them and I didn't really like it. I think it was on Zest and had a picture of an orange on it. Does anyone have any recommendations of similar tunes to "Big Lamp"? I'm keen to find anything, even if its not by Hidden Agenda. I didn't care that much for Max Fresh [Zest 01] when I first heard it. All of sudden everyone has been talking about the Zest label and it makes me wonder if I should have given it a second listen. I've been looking for Sequel & Nos, but I haven't found them in the shops. Anyone recommend these? . MAX FRESH: Get The Funk Out [Zest 01] . SEQUEL: Counterjaw (original mix & Hidden Agenda remix) [ZEST 002] . NOS: Word To The Wise/Green Mist [Zest 04] ===== SWOPE TRANSMISSIONS - FRIDAY Evening 6-9pm (Pacific) http://home.earthlink.net/~efrans/swope-transmissions Listen @ KUCI 88.9Fm Irvine, CA Streaming on the net at http://kuci.org __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? The 3rd one, Half Wonderful by Max Fresh is my personal favorite, very suttle... with that Big lamp edge to it. I am surpried I havent see it mentioned here before, but Hidden Agenda released an LP/CD called 'What ever happened to...' at the start of the year on Straight Ahead records from Switzerland... this is apparently the Clear records album that never was, and is full of the Big lamp/zest kind of sound... well worth hunting down and paying the import price for... Also thanks to all that tuned into Nortroute tonight... -- Dan @MV --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
