Alright. I know the MO of the idm list is to not saying anything positive about Fatboy Slim and I'm not really a fan or anything, but this new video is totally rad. Its directed by Spike Jonze and features the incredible Christopher Walken dancing ridiculously all over the lobby of a posh looking hotel. The choreography reminds me a little of the Windowlicker. That said, I'm not really sure I have anything left to say besides go download the video on WinMX or something. i must say, that theres never been much that fatboy slim ever did that impressed me, but to be honest, when i saw the run of the wepon of choice video (being a large admirer of christopher walken) i nearly freaked out and whatnot. in having years of bad context when it comes to the fatboy, i have a new found 1/2 ass respect for him, being he is one of the first to actualy star a "coooooool mo' fucka" in his video. or maybe we can just lay the respect on down to jonze himself. maybe fatboy was like in cancun getting fatter while jonze called him..... I really don't understand all the anti-fatboy slim sentiment that goes around here? is it because his music is more "dance oriented"? Regardless of your appreciation for the style, it's always good to stay objective.
