Whoah, this is bizarre. A couple of years ago I was taking a csound class with Curtis Roads at UCSB where he is a professor and resident electronic music genius (see the Computer Music Tutorial on MIT press for evidence). On a whim i burned a copy of lp5 for him, which he seemed to enjoy as much as an "academic" electronic musician could. I then wrote ae and mentioned to them that i had given Curtis a copy of some of their stuff, and that he had liked it.
