well well well. "new" warp signing chris clark has recorded the album "clarence park". all the titles are in handwriting on the back cover. i've seen that handwriting before... there are 14 tracks. the album is almost 32 minutes long. i feel a sense of déjà vu... listening to the album i could swear i've been here before. extensive redecorating, but definitely the same place. maybe "aphex twin" will never release an album again. but a "chris clark" album comes out next week. hs ___________________________ alla era bas är tillhör oss --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

fuck you! fuck you! way too many people are starving for new aphex material for you to spread rumors like this. lemme put it this way: if someone were dying of a terminal illness, you would be _very sure_ of yourself before telling them a cure was on the way. aggghhhhhhhgggghhhhh sorry, i'm sure you meant well. i get frustrated, what with this jacket that doesn't let me move my arms, and those walls that are too soft for me to bash my head hard enough to get rid of the deadly hope that new aphex material might be released. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

You take his music way too seriously. It is good but seriously, it's time to move on. -------------------- -l[e^2] *new { ^this.shouldNotImplement(thisMethod) } --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I will not. Neither will I stop my habit of yelling "We are the music makers! We are the music makers!" during sex. When the subject of dance music comes up, I'll haughtily maintain that Digeridoo is the end-all-be-all of techno. "Jeff who? Mills? Never heard of him." I'll say. (yes, of _course_ I'm kidding) (however, I would be happy if a new afx album came out. but no happier than i would for half a dozen other artists) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

You are not saying Chris Clark is Richard James... are you? :-) It's strange, Warp is not giving any sound sample of the album in their web site. And Chris Clark does not exist in their artists list... I thought Aphex was controlling Satelites instead... Warp had a full mp3 of "Diesel Raven" off this album on their website several weeks ago. If this is RDJ, then he's trying to jank on Autechre circa Tri Repatae+++ nowadays. At 11:25 PM 3/27/2001 +0100, you wrote:

Did it occur to anyone that perhaps WARP hadn't got around to updating their artist roster yet? Henrik: where did you hear audio samples of this new album? I'm curious about any good new music, Richard's or not. joYrex César Laia wrote:

Eh? I've listened to a Chris Clark MP3 from the Warp web site. He's a new signing... given it's normal for web sites to be out of date and have inconsistent info on them, you're clutching at straws a bit. Michael np. I don't want to get my hopes up about all this, and I really do wish you hadn't said anything, but Chris Clark is a bit of an enigma. The fact that there hasn't been any mention of him before this is a bit strange, I think, but its hard to say if its rdj or not without actually hearing the cd. iduno. -nik
