Last thursday nigth in Rotterdam Endorphins Subcode and Xingu hill preformed some great electronics @ WORM
Subcode started with some real nice down tempo electronics and het really got the ppl smilling and going with the flow. His set was built up in to a great climax, and at that point Endorphins joined in and they did a nice jam together the beat were pretty pumping and tha atmosphere was right. than Endorphins took over and he leaded the crowd with some warm electronic soundscaping over his beats to a some more breakbeat-like climax. The people were closing their eyes and wandered of into the fairytals of Mike.TV his positive vibed music, I really enyoyed it ! It was real cool to see subcode and endorphins work together on their set, and i sounded pretty Okay, a bit less complex than the solo stuff, but the atmosphere of the music did stay interesting and exting.
Xingu Hill did it own his own with some soul tearing dark triphop gothic set. The beats were slow but pumping and the melodies just enchanted the ppl. The atmosphere was tottaly different from Endorphins, the feeling was dark and a bit evil. For me it was not as good as Endorphins and Subcode, but i saw a lot of ppl really enyoying it. It was just a wicked soundsploring yourney trought the darker parts of electronica.
Just the example that electronic music really has soul, 3 all electronic live acts, two totally different atmosphere's.
