This Monday you are going to see the most extreme music show you have
ever seen. Ruins and Ghidra are going to do to your soul what
Detonator Beth & Co. did to the stage last Monday. Don't miss this
one.
Bill Horist says:
The notorious Japanese thrash-collage duet of Yoshida Tatsuya
(drums/vocals) and Sasaki Hisashi
(bass/vocals), make their first Northwest appearance in five years.
These guys perform some of the most
intense, epic, deconstructionist speed rock known to humanity.
Opening the show will be the free-shredding trio of Wally Shoup
(Project W, Stackpole, Los Valentines), Bill Horist (Axolotl, Tablet,
Zahir), and Mike Peterson (Apes of Wrath, Sauce).

Ruins - Ruins are pioneers of drums/bass duos. They are just two
musicians, but their sound is an energetic blast of solid rhythm
section and hard to believe they are but two. They mix elements of
hardcore/progressive rock/contemporary music/free jazz/noize. Their
explosive and intricately
composed tunes are sung in a peculiar language of their own
invention. Ruins have toured Europe and the USA many times. Ruins
have worked with John Zorn/Derek Bailey/Keiji Haino and others.
GHIDRA plays warm and cuddly music, designed for relaxation and
reflexology. On occasion, however, GHIDRA gets a burr up its butt
and spews hot lava everywhere. Come prepared for each and all
eventualities. GHIDRA is Bill Horist (guitar), Wally Shoup (alto
sax) and Mike Peterson (drums and mad-cap-ness).
