Pinnicle of rebel rock, huh? Perhaps The Sex Pistols might have something to say about that. My vote actually goes to Judas Priest. New topic- Heavy roation at Bri's house- Scannerfunk- Wave of Light by Wave of Light Much in the same vein as the two long pieces from Lauwarm, although not quite as aggressive. Very listenable (accessible?) techno with some rumbly low end, some great snare sounds, a hint or two towards trance and drum n bass, and one song that sounds a lot like Moby's "Porcelain." Young Gods- Second Nature Damn I love these guys. Easily as good as "Only Heaven" but because they're not on Interscope anymore, nobody's heard it. The drums sound a bit less mechanic with the new drummer and all, but Franz has never sounded better. Al's parts are right on, the mix/mastering is right on. Play it loud or don't play it at all, indeed. Only place to get it (in the states at least) is www.intoxygene.com. They were on tour in Europe last I checked. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
