There are quite a few nightclubs and e-lists that could top this one on that
front. Lots of dancing, friendly folks. We tried the survey a while back on
this list and the theory didn't pan-- it's mostly frustrated heterosexuality
around here.
But really now, hasn't "gay" long since had its day as a derogatory
adjective... or do you still run around saying you've been "jewed" by
"indian givers"? (Don't answer, please don't answer.) You might think I'm
just being hypersensitive here, but this is honestly such an asinine slag I
always forget not to take it literally.
At any rate, on the Twine tip... of course it was unprofessional for FE to
post Chad's comment (I think it was Chad's) as an album review. It's also a
little bit funny. Probably best if Twine holds its own protest if they're
upset by it-- if FE refuses to remove it at that point, then fire and
brimstone down on their asses. I honestly think FE did it in good spirits,
even if possibly misguided. I can't remember whether either Greg or Chad has
said anything about this on list, though, so it may well be that they're
miffed. But, all that aside, the 12" in question is top notch. I like it.
Cheers,
M.
