If anyone is in the Bristol { UK } area this Sun 18th, there
is a special showing of Luc Bessons' aquatic classic
'Atlantis' @ The Cube Cinema, Kings Sq, Bristol.
The alternative soundtrack provided by dj Shane Quentin
will feature a host of IDM related artists from Duplo Remote,
Third Eye Foundation and Transient Waves, as well as
artists as diverse as Syd Barrett to Revolutionary Corps of
Teenage Jesus. Admission is only £4 and it kicks off around
8pm. After this event SQ is playing a special dj set at Arc Bar,
27 Broad St, { off Corn St } from 10pm ~ featuring an even
more eclectic mix of grooves from Brainticket to MC5 and
Masami Akita. Come along and check it out if you reckon your
head can handle it !
