I saw posted somewhere that the O.V.Schirach, called "8000 BC," was to be released on April 16th. There is a review of the cd in the new Vice magazine. Unfortunately, on a scale of 1 to 10, they gave it a 0 (a rating usually reserved for 80's hair bands trying to make a comeback or neighborhood rappers who have no idea what they're doing.) You might be able to find that review at www.viceland.com _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

i dont think theyre out yet, but i heard em both and theyre good (as usual). the otto is fuckin rad, but unfortunately all the songs sound really similar in a way, kinda like the same richard devine thing. d --- brian albers <brianalbers@hotmail.com> wrote:

Well, whatever... "8000B.C." is a fine album to say the least. Definitely one of the more singular efforts I've heard recently. Similar to Devine's work in its manic programming and almost complete lack of melody, but his textures are somewhat less synthetic than Devine's and his programming is a lot more disjunct. His stuff is less sort of stoic and more playful than Devine's work. His tracks do suffer from the sort of sameyness that's also found in Devine's work though.
