i've been reading the recent posts on the list and i believe that most of you that are talking about people and their bad posts are contributing to the problem that you talk about. bitching and wining are for your moms. tell your mom you don't like the list. maybe she'll like to have an intelligent discussion with you about the new autechre track. ----------------->how come super user's yee-king hasn't been discussed?<------------------- that record is the shit! ----------------->how bout venetian snares?<------------------ i picked up a 7" and i love it as well. ----------------->anyone heard the mu-ziq on deathchant?<------------------ also: did anyone catch the schematic interview in urb? i think it was fuckin pitiful. looks to me like they are a bunch of neo-hippies with childlike tendencies. at least the ones that actually got into the interview. (i met richard devine in detroit and i saw takeshi muto in chicago, i think they are pretty dope but for the others in the crew, i think its better if you remain anonymous. i like some of the music but just because you have the designer's republic do you artwork doesn't make you "avant-garde" and experimental. the interview made it seem like all of schematic's tracks were cut and pastes from older miami booty tracks. hardly i know some of you out there are going to say, urb sucks well, i agree knowing this why would they do it? (now, i guess they truly did sell out, turn five pages and the new digweed release is being promo'd) (why, is what i ask, why?) (b4 the interview i was into their shit, after i want nothing to do with them) (this post is how i'm feeling right now, don't let this start a month long bashing discussion) my feelings change like the weather here in detroit. right now its snowing. ------------->if you don't like 200 e-mails a day, subscribe to the list in digest form!<------------- have a great day list people! maybe i'll see some of you in columbus this weekend. phonotype@aol.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Just wondering if anyone of the list members in NYC DJ idm. Record Camp is now looking to broaden the scope of its idm djs and I figured this would be the perfect place to find some. We've had a pretty diverse set of djs so far and would be nice to hear some new blood. Drop me an email if you're interested PS, it doesn't have to be just IDM <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Adesh Deosaran 8< CutFaster http://www.activaire.com/recordcamp send an email to rcamp@activaire.com to get on the recordcamp mailing list<<stay informed! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

well, it's still going on, two months later. there's some lesson here that i seem to be missing...

like all idm, it loses its luster after a while. idm is like computers. you have to fight to be up to date, and just when you think you have all the most recent stuff it's already outdated. and you're never completely satisfied. there's always a spiritual emptiness somewhere.

you're wrong.
