yeah, granted, the magic and the amazing atmosphere of lx and crew are gone, but this release is fun. however, his use of sampled vocal bits is pretty weak.. that always use to be key to the orb's magic, but there doesn't seem to be interesting or humorous use of samples here. pity. otherwise, it's a fun record. Short review: Brilliant. The story with this cd is really fun. When I got it in my mail the other day I put it in the cdplayer and got shocked - I've already heard it! I skipped to next track...and this one is familiar as well...I started to think what kind of cd that was because I defenitely knew it was something I already have...I prepared myself for dissapointment... And then I remembered! I had that music in mp3 for a long time! It was one huge file with exactly that name....md-appelsap-128.mp3 8) I am so pleased to finally have it in my collection in cd format!!! In addition cd has a bunch of nice remixes to original tracks. Very recommended. Slow melodic electronica fans must buy. Sometimes similar to slow tracks by Mouse on Mars or the likes. I cannot find a reason to dislike it.
