It's making me float ! Generally quite lovely! Nothing groundbreaking, but better than the chunky, heavy Orblivion from a few years back. Could have dropped the pointless and unfunny two-minute joke track Egnable... Love the future-pop songs... Centuries and Once More: is it the same vocalist as Mu-ziq's The Fear? Not quite the height of UFOrb, but it's making me quite happy... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Affirmative. Not Orblivion's paranoia, not OT's psychelidub, not UFOrb's ambient grooves. This is more a pop/reggae album...with that special Orb touch.

This and that long last track are both from the FFWD sessions; they were previously "lost" but found during Alex's move to a new flat.

Not the same, different girl, whose name escapes me here at the office.

Definitely a grower...it won't stun anyone out of the gate. I rather disliked it until about the third week (getting the Once More remixes by M Pritchard helped, too :), at which time a lot of the complicated engineering began to reveal itself. Alex has gotten less obvious (meaning more cunning) with his engineering/mixing techniques. laz --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I agree. I wasn't impressed by version 1 that's been available on Napster (for close to year now?). They've improved the mix ten-fold and the results are very rich and so much more appealing. Maybe it was a good thing Hugues left. A Mile Long..., which was such a heavy mess on v1 is quite good now, building up slowly, keeping a more subtle groove now. I do miss the Ralf track, though. A cute and catchy track that I hope gets mixed properly and released. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I really like some of their old stuff, and had heard nothing but negative reviews of the new album. My radio station finally got a copy last night and I thought 'Well, I'll just have to decide for myself.' Long story short- the new album is crap and all the negative reviews were dead on. Nothing to hold my attention, no interesting beats, no interesting textures. I didn't have a chance to sit down with it and really listen through it, but even upon skipping through it, I doubt that I'll make any effort to revisit it. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
