My best guess is that once Funkstorung signed to K7, MaS dropped in priority for them. It's been so long (almost 2 years?) since the last release on the label that I'd be really surprised if it ever comes back from limbo with a new release. actually i believe there is an upcoming release already slated in the next few weeks on Musik aus Strom..... by an "enigmatic" group called Crunch. the release is called "nuls plus eins" and has gotten rave reviews from Michael Fakesch, big surprise. His statement regarding their anonymity and how he knows nothing about them leads me to believe that maybe it's one of their regular crew in disguise? any ideas? (or is it probably just my conspiracy theory self making things up again?) In any case, I think that Crunch will be hitting sometime soon..... matt

Yes, I also got this CRUNCH cd a few days ago. It is the best thing on MAS ever, if you are to beleive Mr Fakesch. Well, it is different from what has been out on MAS before, that's for sure. Some of the songs are up to 3 years old, and you can hear the difference between them and the newer ones. So, it's a bit confusing but still well worth buying, once it gets out. Sounds intriguing :) I've heard Crunch's double ep on DUB and it was very good. I wonder why DUB label wasn't mentioned on this subject yet, I think thay are moving the same path as MaS and some of their releases are absolutely brilliant. Funckarama "Parts" is one of the best IDM albums from last year, at least in that mas/fng style.
