Have to deliver some big praise upon the new Auch remix album called
Remix Tomorrow Goodbye. Auch, which is one of the many many guises of
Ekkehard Ehlers, delivered an impressive debut last year entitled
Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye which featured a dark unsettling mix of
bc-flavored dubby techno & electronica. Later this month the remix
companion, entitled Remix Tomorrow Goodbye, will be released and it
features stunning remixes by Donnacha costello, Sutekh, Farben, Auch,
Gez Varley, Jasper, and Ricardo Villalobos to name just a few.
Favorites on this one include Costello's dark clik-techno monster,
Farben's rather funky disco mix, and Varley's aggressive techno mix
but really all are exceptional. Definitely check this one if you're
into the whole Force Inc, Force Tracks, Mille Plateux sound. Highly
recommended.

Also released recently on Force Inc is the new Exos cd called
Strength as well as Vladislav Delay's Anima. Exos, who rose to
prominence on the highly respected Thule label, delivers his second
cd for Force Inc. which features more of the same excellent driving
percussion and dubby ambience that made his first release so
appealing. Fans of previous Exos releases as well as the Thule sound
sound enjoy this one as well. Regarding Vladislav Delay's Anima,
despite it being a 1-track 70+ minute cd (which is something that
always detracts rather than adds to a cd), it's still solid focusing
in on the lighter dubbier side of the VDlay sound which is the side i
personally prefer. I'm really looking forward to the Vladislav
Delay/Luomo U.S. tour scheduled for this summer.
