hi sorry for off topic cross post. this is a long shot. i got this tape a Loooong time ago by a band called onomatopoeia, they were out of Eugene, Oregon (uhh, U.S.A., Earth) they were really pretty different, sort of hippie jam band meets Einsturzende Neubauten. (yeah, but in a good way) i really dug the tape that i had called "Orbiculate" from i think 1991, it was one of the better things from the cassette underground from that period. turns out the only copy i can find of this recording is a very crappy quality 18th generation (or so it seems) dub that is virtually unlistenable. anyone have this tape (or any others by them)? dub me a nice copy? better yet, burn me a cd (since that was my original intent for the tape) ? anyone ever heard of these guys, or what happened to them? i did a google search for them and related projects, and for the name of the leader of the troupe (Arlan Schwarzbauer) all searches led to nothing. i doubt anyone will have heard of them, but it's worth a shot. c. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
