On a old thread someone said "avoid Bianchi recent recordings like "Colori" . That sounds like a recommendation to me! What label is it on? Anything on CD or is it just vinyl. They haven't heard of bianchi at sonic groove or other music. mediadrome --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I dunno about that specific title, but the Italian label Alga Marghen has been reissuing Bianchi stuff in batches on a sublabel (two box sets worth of CDs, also available separately). Other Music carries his stuff, so someone there should know what the deal is. Sonic Groove is probably as likely to carry HNAS records, so I wouldn't bother with them. Alga Marghen, by the way, is one of the premier issuers of archival experimental music around- almost every release of theirs crackles with an energy to expand the possibilities of music. Anybody interested in the punked-out-Cage" aspect of the LAFMS should investigate immediately forthwith. Although I have to admit I don't have much of a use for an endless raft of Bianchi records (or Koji Asano, for that matter- what the fuck is up with him, anyway?). I do, however, recognize the potential wisdom of avoiding his recent work. -rob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
