I agree with Michael, it's an amazing, amazing track. Kit Clayton dropped it once in the middle of a "true" house set (well, at least his approximation of said form!) and it was just astonishing. Fun little factoid about that track: apparently it's all sampled & reworked off some crappy R&B CD that the duo found in a dustbin, somewhere. I'm not sure how apocryphal that is (after a few more tellings I'm sure it will morph into something like "...a crappy R&B CD the duo found in Dave Eggers' dustbin, after he smuggled it out of Puffy's studio along with a purloined bottle of Cristal - the uncorking of which provided the core sample of the drum track for their forthcoming 2step outing..."). Always happy to spread a rumor, Phil p.s. the new Matmos CD, "A Chance to Cut Is a Chance to Cure," is pure genius - I've had it on promo for a few weeks now and can't get enough of you. There's a *brilliant* house track on there, a deeply funky jam sprung from a few parched, arid samples, and lotsa lotsa crazy noise.
