I'm not sure. But the college station on the radio where I lived were discussing them last night, and they played a supposedly "new" song I believe and it was her (Hope is her first name, I can't remember her last) solo. So, who knows? On Fri, 9 Feb 2001, Diana Potts wrote:

No, because he was sacked a few years ago. Shields and Butcher are the only current members of the group (such as it may exist). -rob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Uh, dude - didja miss the </sarcasm> tag? (Not that such tagging is necessary for posts from wells - generally, I consider the sarcasm to be implied in his messages.) Anyway, while we're discussing MBV, check this, it's funny: http://www.bobbins.org/d/20010207.html Greg -- Greg Clow - greg@stainedproductions.com - greg@feedbackmonitor.com concert & event promotions - http://www.stainedproductions.com electronic music radio/reviews/interviews - http://www.feedbackmonitor.com 158 Close Ave. 2nd Floor - Toronto, Ontario M6K 2V5 - Canada --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

No. I figured the scope of his tag was limited to the fact that MBV has been working on a follow-up for a very long period of time. I assumed that O'Ciosoig's firing was a little too obscure for Wells to be sarcastic about (even if he knew/cared), as well as pretty scant in intrinsic humor value. Hence I assumed that sending out a little tidbit of trivia related the subject would not be considered to be oblivious of Wells' intent. I am, however, greatly appreciative of the goodwill that the IDM list has shown towards the sarcasm-impaired. -rob no smileys no tags no --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
