hmm, managed to source all of the Clouddead singles, thanks for the tip, ppl, and really looking forward to buying the CD when it becomes available - in some ways, the whole hiphop abstraction end of things is becoming one of the cutting edges of 'idm', whatever 'idm' means - hence Anti-Pop Consortium releasing on Warp and Herren and Devine captivating their attention. definitely worth discussing on here, anyhow. those Anticon guys are goofed-up abstract brilliant. anyone got any other good recommendations for the abstractest, or most noisy/interesting hiphop that intrudes into the kinda stuff we discuss on this list? regards, h0l. ps - talking of another pet hiphop-related project i drool over, the cartoon 'internet supergroup' Gorillaz, whose music is produced by Dan The Automator and performed by Damon Albarn (Blur), Del Tha Funky Homosapien, and various other 'sekrit' people as drawn by Jamie Hewlett (Tank Girl), have put their 2nd video up online for their latest (UK-only) single, "Clint Eastwood". It's genius.
