If the album was called "Sega", it might be a coincidence...with a title
like this, is it possible it's NOT a coincidence...
this is cool.
obIDM content:
I'm loving this new Syndrone "Trishaideka". I picked up an mp3 online and it
made the sale. Mellow and beautiful, but complexity makes the world go
'round. This is definitely part and parcel of the recent renaissance of
melody in IDM a la arovane, aspen, and the rest (which would, frankly, take
too long in alphabetical order). But there are beeps here, too, so don't
think it's all about the melody. Now and then, I hear a bit of hip hop
influence where I don't expect it...and that's just cool to my ears. Other
tracks are darker in the way that Autechre likes to be dark sometimes...with
a depth that makes you feel something real. All in all, a great album.

hee,
don't have the new Microstoria album "Model 3, Step 2", tho I do love MoM,
whose live shows are nothing short of incendiary.
but just wanted to share that the name of it may, weirdly, be taken from a
Sega arcade board - or is it just a strange coincidence?

i'm a big JAMMA/arcade fan, so I just thought that was weird :0
regards,
h0l.
