Since early November last year AI has been owed for sales of Tim Koch's
"Please Don't Tell Me That's Your Volvo" CD by SiN/SAFE. and that due to
their tardiness in paying up (9 weeks!) the money for pressing up the new
Sense EP is unavailable. This is despite explaining to them numerous times
that the money is needed to release Sense's CD. AI is your typical small
label with limited cash flow and the label needs the substantial sum that
is owed to it by SiN/SAFE to pay for the manufacturing of Sense's Fourier
Transformations EP.
So, if you like Sense's music and want the EP out there sooner than latter
please email them at YOUNGQUOTA@aol.com and
safe@safetyinnumbers.net asking them to please promptly pay up the money
owed, so the label may go about manufacturing Sense's brilliant new EP.
Joel if you are out there I'd appreciate hearing from you and even better
for you to pay up the money owed. I'm not sure why you haven't paid as yet
and made no obvious efforts to pay either, but it's not only me and the
label that is affected by this. It's also Tim, as how can I pay him if the
distributor does not pay me and also Sense who has wanted to release his EP
for so long and it should have been out in time for a Christmas release if
you had have paid up on the date in our written agreement.
Sorry to bother the lists with my financial woes but I have tried almost
everything to get the money owed to us and its a shame that music as good
as Sense's has to be held up by them. Any other labels (I already know of a
few) who deal with them and have had similar problems I'd like to hear from
you in private, if you don't mind.
Thanks,
John
