idm, hey, i need to ask a few questions that mayone some of you can answer. do you guys have any idea why rephlex and warp make all these videos, and then make them completely inaccessable to the general public. i mean, ive saw the quicktime snips and the real media versions, but lets face it, they just dont cut it. i want to know if theres anyone or anyplace that retails these videos. mainly im looking for the lfo video (all tied up) and the two autechre videos. and if there isnt a place you can buy the videos, is there anywhere you can get them online in a better quality format than what has been given to us by the labels themselves? i mean, i find it quite rediculous to spend the time and money to make these videos and not have them be consumable. i mean, maybe they play them in europe on their music tv stations and i just dont know it but for us unlucky folks in the usa its kind of discouraging to know theres a cunninham video floating around out there somewhere and i just cant get my hands on it no matter how hard i try. now dont get me wrong, im not a pirate in any sense, but if i cant buy these movies anywhere, can someone please let me know where i can find them in good quality at online? thanks guys, mike _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Have you tried emailing Warp, suggesting they release a compilation of videos on DVD? If they don't think there's any demand for it, they won't release them. If you want them that bad, all you've got to do is ask! It's a shame Warp didn't put any of the Broadcast videos on the various EP releases from "The Noise Made By People". A golden opportunity. I thought this was something they'd be doing regularly from the moment they put the "Windowlicker" video on one of the CD singles. (I don't know what the situation is overseas, but here in the UK pretty much every major single release has the video slapped on one of the CDs.) A great way to see most videos in their entirety before MTV get their scissors out. (Ie, UNKLE's "Rabbit in the Headlights", pretty much everything off the Cardigans' "Gran Tourismo", Aphex's "Windowlicker", Leftfield's "Afrika Shox", etc.) It was a shame Warp didn't seize the opportunity to release a companion video/DVD to the Warp + 10 anniversary releases. -- Mark Stevens http://www.headspin.clara.net/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
