what strikes me as interesting is that I still think about Europe as having a better music scene. But it's just not true. (It may not be worse, but it's not better)...both house AND techno started here, not there...as far as I know, garage started in NY...trance maybe overseas, but psychedelic trance was definitely a SF thing...IDM is more UK-centric, but that's expanding now...anyway, just some thoughts... I think this is probably just the result of a 'grass is always greener...' sort of attitude. love it where you are and smile about it...that seems to help some. ---brian ------------------------ Brian W. ehh??? goa gil has always sucked, and always will. adam o'hana is the only other real SF psy-trance export. would you care to elaborate? most of the classic early stuff is british or tsuyoshi, then it got taken over by the israeli and german cheese-heads.
