Um, refer to atomly's elitist post. Gee if 15% more of the world had access to music makign materials and had more musical influence, we might be a lot closer to what everyone keeps referring to as "the next ae". It's selfish not to offer the tools to everyone. Hey, look at it this way... the more boring bedroom DSP jack-off bullshit peopel put out, the quicker the rest of will get sick of it and have to start inventing new ideas. So anyway, IMO, youre totally lookign at this the wrong way By the way, I sure dont want one of those G4 powerbooks. Not unless someone else here picks up the bill ;) delphs --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

True. I did see that last post. I thought he stated what I said much better. Well, I didn't even say it actually. I am waiting for this laptop ka-ka to get done with i. There are about 3 people who are doping anything even vaguely interesting with it and the others are jus kind of wanking. I guess after hearing the bad ones and then the good ones, I've made the decision to shy away from it. Well, not entirely. my next CD will have a wee bit of DSP tweaking ala PEAK, but not to much. I guess I like simple rhythms and melodies. Is that not IDM? Too bad...

I stupidly invested about $6-800 in a 5300CS to have it refurbished when I should have held onto my money, gotten a a paper route and bought a G4. Ah, sugar.
