hi folx I'm pretty new to IDM as I only really got into ae this summer although I've known them for a year or so beforehand but now I'm figgering that IDM is my new kind of music now even though the extent of my IDM collection consists of ae boc and andrea parker which brings me to my question as to oh and I've omitted one other album that is Artificial Intelligence II I'm not even terribly fond of Aphex sorry folx what other IDMish artists would you suggest ie are the tracks on AI II comparable representative of the corpus of the artist in question with especial emphasis on Mark Franklin Link/Global Communications B12 Balil/BDP my other musical interests stem mainly from the so-called trip hop though I've tired of much of it save for the wicked sounds of |P| and their immediate roots re Massive Attack I dig somemuch of the Orbital the Cocteau Twins are great please don't brush me off because of them ;) and 4AD mates DCD/Lisa Gerrard Dubstar Lamb and I'm certain I'm leaving some very dear bands out but la dAda daa daaaa dah rambling always Lee "Do your dreams come true?" "I haven't had a nice dream for years." _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
