What do you guys know about beige? I picked up that recent 12" on leaf that was pretty cool and i just found the set (live pa??) on Betalounge. It's kinda very minimal, abstractish, yet melodic uh... stuff. Somewhat unique i think. While I don't know a lot about Beige, I *do* know that the single you mention as well as the full-length that was released on Leaf earlier this year are very good and, as you say, unique. Leaf has proven to be a really excellent label, especially in the last couple of years, with releases by artists like Beige, Faultline, Eardrum and Susumu Yokota that are very eclectic and very good. Oh, and the recent Manitoba 12" on Leaf is really cool as well.
